7TH COVENANT
Ps. 25: 8-
Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore He teaches sinners
in the way. The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way. All
the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
For Your name’s sake, O Lord, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great. Who is the man
that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell
in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord
is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
Ps. 145: 13
Your kingdom
is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
Our
domain (territory) given by God
7 means The Oath, complete or perfect.
Jesus is the
seventh of the major covenants starting with Adam.
1st Covenant -
Gen. 1: 26-
Then God said, “Let Us make
man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish
of the sea, over the birds of the air and over the cattle, over all the earth and
over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own
image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then
God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth
and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air,
and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “See, I have
given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and
every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast
of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth,
in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. Then
God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening
and the morning were the sixth day.
2nd Covenant -
Gen.
6:18
But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark – you,
your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.
Gen. 8:22
“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not
cease.”
Gen. 9: 8-
Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying: And as
for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you and with your descendants after
you, and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and
every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of
the earth. Thus, I establish My covenant with you; Never again shall all flesh be
cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy
the earth. And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me
and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations; I
set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between
Me and the earth, It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow
shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and
you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a
flood to destroy all flesh, The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on
it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of
all flesh that is on the earth.” And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant
which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.” Now the
sons of Noah who went out of the ark are Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And Ham was the
father of Canaan. These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole
earth
was populated.
