THE WAY -
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, ‘No one comes
to the Father except through me.”
Acts 9:1-
Then Saul, still breathing threats and
murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters
from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way,
whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
Acts 19:9, 23
But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the
Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning
daily in the school of Tyrannus.
And about that time there arose a great commotion
about the Way.
Acts 22:4
I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering
into prisons both men and women,
Acts 22:14, 22
Then he said, “The God of our fathers
has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the
voice of His mouth.
And they listened to him until this word, and then they raised
their voices and said, “Away with such a fellow from the earth, for he is not fit
to live!”
Phil. 2: 5-
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who,
being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made
Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness
of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient
to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly
exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of
Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and that
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Heb.
5: 8 & 9
Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.
And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey
Him,
Ps. 25: 8-
Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore He teaches sinners in the
way. The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. All the
paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
For Your name’s sake, O Lord, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great. Who is the man
that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell
in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord
is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
